I've always been fascinated by the question of what we'd sacrifice for the truth. In We Buried the Stars, I wanted to explore that through Dr. Nova Reyes, a neuroscientist haunted by her past at a remote New Mexico observatory.

What drew me to this story was the chance to weave together grief, cutting-edge science, and the kind of secrets that powerful people will do anything to keep buried. Nova returns to the facility where everything changed—not because she's moved on, but because they've summoned her back. And she's not alone: Adrian Savoy, a military operative with complicated loyalties, becomes an unexpected ally.

This isn't just a story about finding answers. It's about what happens when the truth is more impossible than you ever imagined, and when the very technology that shaped your past might be the only way to reclaim your future.
