Shadows of Destiny

I have some exciting news to share. I'm officially reworking Shadows of Destiny—my very first novel—and giving it the complete overhaul it deserves. (Yes, it's also getting a new title, though I haven't quite landed on the perfect one yet!)

When I first wrote this book a few years ago, I poured my heart into Lucas, Max, Astrid, and all the characters navigating the glittering yet shadowed streets of Lumina City. But here's the thing: it was my first work, and looking back now, I can see so much untapped potential in their story. These characters have stayed with me, whispering that they deserve better—a tighter plot, deeper emotional resonance, and the kind of polish that only comes with experience and perspective.

So I'm going back in. I'm reimagining Lucas's journey from sheltered royal to someone grappling with identity, loss, and unexpected love. I'm strengthening the friendships that anchor this story and sharpening the political intrigue lurking beneath Lumina City's dazzling facade. Most importantly, I'm making sure every word on the page honors the vision I had for this story but didn't quite have the skills to execute the first time around.

The reworked version will be coming your way sometime in 2026. I can't wait to share what this story becomes when given the proper attention it's been calling out for.

If you read the original Shadows of Destiny, thank you for taking that journey with me. And if you're new here? Get ready to meet some characters I think you're really going to love.

More updates to come!

He writes about the geography of longing—characters searching for connection across mysteries, distant stars, and enchanted realms, discovering that love and truth often hide in the same forgotten places.
